Dickson College has a proud record of academic excellence and a fine reputation for assisting students to make the transition from a structured learning environment into the workplace or tertiary education institutions, with their greater emphasis on independence. We offer a wide range of courses from the key learning areas, as well as opportunities for students to broaden their horizons through a program of registered courses.Students can make up a study program from tertiary accredited courses or nationally recognized vocational courses depending on their educational goal. Involvement is encouraged not only in academic pursuits but also in a wide range of activities such as sport, debating, hospitality, art, music, photography and drama all the while maintaining a balance between students' interests. Dickson is a great place to be. The College encourages individual and sporting activities using both the College and local community facilities. We have an excellent record in inter-college competitions and a number of our students have achieved recognition at regional and national levels. We promote both competition and leisure options.
