Chittaway Bay is a welcoming school located in a quiet bushland setting. Our modern classrooms are airconditioned and have the latest technology including interactive white boards, iPads, visual presenters as well as a connected classroom. Parents and staff work closely together to ensure a friendly, caring learning environment where students feel happy, safe and successful. We place equal value on educational excellence and people who are nice to know. Our programs and reward systems reflect a balance between the two. Our experienced and very dedicated teachers provide quality educational programs which meet the individual needs of students in our mainstream classes and three support classes for students with intellectual disabilities. The programs are supported by resources provided through our very active P&C. In addition to our emphasis on literacy and numeracy, we offer a variety of opportunities that cater for students' individual interests and talents. These include dance, guitar, brass and woodwind band, piano keyboard, choir, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, sporting competitions, writing workshops with our partner high school, environmental programs, overnight excursions, and camps for gifted students.
