Hume Valley School

Education QLD introduces Hume Valley School in Broadmeadows, for all your education and learning needs.

Hume Valley School is a rapidly growing, single-campus facility catering for students in a wide geographical area in the Northern Metropolitan Region. The school provides a comprehensive curriculum for students, between the ages of five and eighteen years, who have a mild to moderate intellectual disability. The school offers individual educational planning for each student. The school is divided into five sub-Schools that approximate the stages of learning. The school's significant participation in the Broadmeadows Schools Regeneration Project and the Broadmeadows Innovations and Excellence Cluster has resulted in: a focus on building teacher and leadership capacity; working together and developing professional teams across schools in order to develop high quality pedagogy and research; and sharing of best practice. Ongoing implementation of all aspects of the Broadmeadows Pedagogy Framework and the reform agenda of the Broadmeadows Schools Regeneration Project will enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for all our students.
