The Australian School of Bartending is a long established school, dating back to the 1980’s and specialises in the skills you need to get a job in the industry. There are many courses on offer in Melbourne, many claiming that the only way to get a job is by paying thousands of dollars for intense training. The reality is that to gain employment all you need is decent product knowledge, good pouring skills, be able to make cocktails consistently and an RSA.
The RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol, RSA) is a legal requirement for almost all people who work with alcohol. In Victoria the RSA must be the course accredited by the government and cannot be done on-line. All Bartending skills courses at the Australian School of Bartending include an RSA free of charge.
Our Bartending Skills courses are designed to “get you the job”. We keep the class sizes small so that you get the best training possible. We keep the paperwork and theory to a minimum and use as much time as possible for practical sessions.
