Stawell Secondary College Caters for all Key Learning Areas, with modern facilities and excellent access to technology. Students are encouraged and assisted to reach their full academic, social and physical potential. Students are assisted with career and university advice and guidance. A new $2 million dollar Language Centre was completed in 2011.
The College provides an education in a safe and supportive rural environment which values good work habits and a positive attitude to learning. The College encourages programs that provide students with a diverse range of skills necessary for success in the real world, including ecology projects, music, performing arts, science projects, outdoor education and hair and beauty. The school provides student welfare support and a chaplaincy program. The school also caters for a large range of sporting activities.
Stawell Secondary College has an International Students program which it has conducted for 7 years with students from China studying in the school and living with Australian families.
